Warehouse Worker - NOW HIRING

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of essential duties within the distribution center, focusing primarily on accurate order picking, secure packaging, and efficient package handling. This role is vital to ensuring customer orders are processed and shipped quickly and correctly, requiring excellent attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to team goals and safety.Responsibilities:Order Picking: Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse locations based on picking lists, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems to fulfill customer orders.Packaging: Securely pack picked items into appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring correct cushioning and labeling to prevent damage during transit.Package Handling: Load, unload, and sort packages manually or using material handling equipment, ensuring accurate placement onto conveyors, pallets, or shipping trucks.Quality Control: Inspect products and packages for damage, defects, or discrepancies before shipping and report any issues to a supervisor.Inventory Management: Assist with basic inventory tasks, including cycle counting, relocation of products, and maintaining the organization of stock locations.Equipment Operation: Safely operate manual material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (and potentially forklifts, if certified).Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 2:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)Skills:Prior experience (6 months or more) working in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment.Experience with RF scanners, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), or other inventory tracking tools.Familiarity with common picking methodologies (e.g., batch picking, zone picking).Certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklift, order picker).Experience with wrapping pallets and preparing them for shipment.Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:Proven ability to work safely and follow established procedures.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs regularly), bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in number/code recognition and order fulfillment.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills to process orders and complete documentation.Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to team performance.Ready to join a dynamic team and play a critical role in getting products to our customers?
