Warehouse Sorter / Package Handler

Responsibilities:

• Sorting & Processing: Sort both alphabetically and numerically with high accuracy to ensure correct routing of mail and parcels.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate RF scanners and manual pallet jacks to track and move inventory.
• Conveyor Management: Efficiently load and unload items from conveyor belts within a high-volume workstation.
• Operational Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation while executing verbal instructions from supervisors.
• Physical Execution: Remain on your feet for 100% of the shift, consistently lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, bending, and reaching in an ambient warehouse environment (subject to temperature fluctuations and dust).
• Working hours: 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Skills:

• Prior experience in a fast-paced light industrial or warehouse environment (e.g., parcel shipping, logistics).
• Strong team collaboration and active listening skills.
• High-Volume Workstation Maintenance experience.
• Adaptability and versatility in a dynamic, shifting work environment.

Education:

• High School

Experience:

• 1-4 years

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to sort materials both alphabetically and numerically with high accuracy.
• Proficiency in Mail & Parcel Sorting and Conveyor Loading/Unloading.
• Experience with RF Scanner Operation and Manual Pallet Jack Operation.
• High-speed performance, physical stamina, and the ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work the 3rd Shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM.
• Ability to pass a 7-Year Standard Background Check and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.
• Commitment to safety, including wearing required PPE (Steel-toed boots and a High-visibility vest).
