EH&S Manager

We are looking for an EH&S Manager to lead our safety and environmental programs at our manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will lead a team to make sure our workplace stays safe, healthy, and up to date with all state and government rules.

Responsibilities:
You will manage the daily safety operations for our offices and factory floors while guiding a team of supervisors. Your main duties will include running safety training, setting budgets and schedules, and making sure our buildings and equipment meet safety codes. You will also oversee workplace injury claims, handle OSHA records, and work closely with managers to fix safety issues. Additionally, you will help hire and train new team members and regularly share safety updates with plant leadership.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Safety certifications like CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist).

Hands-on experience with programs like Lock Out Tag Out, machine safety, ergonomic checks, or ISO standards.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
7 years of experience in safety (EH&S) roles, including direct experience supervising others.

A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, or equal work experience with safety laws.

Proven experience managing safety programs across multiple site operations.

Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong record-keeping ability.
