Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a rigorous service protocol (oil, lube, tires, etc.) to ensure our fleet and equipment remain road-ready while minimizing downtime.
- Assist with scheduling and parts-ordering process. Keep the shop and warehouse organized, manage inventory levels, and ensure the shop is stocked and ready for service.
- Balance technical mechanical duties and lead up to assisting with administrative organization, ensuring all daily shop activities are completed safely and efficiently.
- Bring a "can-do" attitude to resolve technical bottlenecks quickly. Comfortably pivot between administrative tasks (scheduling/ordering) and hands-on mechanical work.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years of experience as a mechanic.
- Technical Skills: A proven background in general repairs, tires, and preventative maintenance (engine building experience is not required). Diesel-specific experience is a plus but not required.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computers and software for inventory management, scheduling, and ordering supplies.
- Leadership Mindset: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and build efficient shop processes from the ground up.
