Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Richmond, VA, for an Employee Benefits Account Manager. An Employee Benefits Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between an insurance brokerage, insurance carriers, and the employer (the client). Their main goal is to ensure that a company’s employee benefits run smoothly, remain compliant, and stay cost-effective. The role involves managing and supporting group employee benefits accounts by providing exceptional client service, resolving policy and claims issues, and ensuring all client needs are met. The Account Manager will be responsible for coordinating with carriers, maintaining compliance standards, analyzing plan options, preparing proposals, and assisting with enrollment communications and processes. Collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients will be key to ensuring a seamless benefits experience.
