About The Position
The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent customer service skills and serve as a technical resource to a large and growing binding and brokerage team. Successful applicants will work with the in-house Underwriter(s) partnered with the carriers and retail agents to request and review underwriting information for processing of placement of coverage, invoicing, rating & processing endorsements, assisting with preparation of quotes and obtaining accurate state compliance documents.

About The Position

Successful applicants will work with the in-house Underwriter(s) partnered with the carriers and retail agents to request and review underwriting information for processing of placement of coverage, invoicing, rating & processing endorsements, assisting with preparation of quotes and obtaining accurate state compliance documents.
Responsibilities
- Bind/invoice placement of coverage, rate and process endorsements with invoicing, audits, and other documents according to established departmental procedures with accuracy, efficiency, and meeting compliance standards.
- Handle cancellation notices, cancellation endorsements and rescission documents.
- Act as liaison between clients and the underwriter to obtain missing information, status of quote/bind, and/or other requests for information.
- State SL compliance documentation handling.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School graduate required; College courses preferred.
- Previous work experience in the fields of insurance underwriting, customer service, with a successful track record of at least 5 years or more.
- Positive attitude and enjoy helping others through frequent phone and email communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of adaptability to meet the needs of various situations.
- Strong organization skills, with a high level of detail orientation.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and various rating portals.
