Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Commercial Construction Project Manager based in the Washington DC-Metro area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with security requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project activities, managing construction teams and budgets, develop and maintain the construction schedule, generate and review RFI's and submittals, conduct and generate minutes for weekly OAC meeting, tracking project progress, and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to navigate secure environment requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Project Coordination and overseeing tasks from planning through project completion
- Experience in Construction Project Management, including supervising teams and ensuring compliance with established standards
- Strong skills in budget and estimating, logistics, and financial management for construction or related projects
- Familiarity with Construction Management and Project Management principles and tools
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of secure environment construction requirements (e.g., SCIF or SAPF projects) is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
- Ability to travel
- Candidate will have the ability to pass a security background check
- Experience in Procore and MS Project preferred
Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
