Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to join our team at SPG Consulting. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, analyzing demand, optimizing storage and distribution processes, supervising warehouse staff, and implementing inventory control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of supplier relationships and negotiations
- Analysis of supply chain data to inform decision-making
- Optimization of storage and distribution processes
- Supervision of warehouse staff and implementation of inventory control systems
SAP Expectations:
- Verification of purchase orders (POs) for materials and order quantities
- Daily creation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for stock items and individual WBS POs
- Check variance between PO value and actual receipt in SAP and obtain necessary approvals for amendments
- Post all types of materials against received reservation slips from the shop floor daily
- Maintenance and monitoring of the inventory management system in SAP for system vs. actual quantities
- Evaluation of inventory costs in SAP and reporting any deviations to the controller and CFO
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, finance, engineering, mathematics, or statistical analysis
- Minimum 3 years experience in inventory management or a related field
- Proven track record of success in improving business processes and reducing costs
