This is a full-time position that reports to our Body Shop Team Leader.

  • Some bed-lining experience is a plus
  • Using your best judgment and asking questions when something might not make sense
  • Always following safety guidelines
  • Having fun in the process

What You Get Paid

This position is paid on an hourly basis, and your level of experience and expertise will determine our offer.

In addition, SPEVCO offers a great host of a la carte benefits from Medical and Tele-Health, Rx, Dental, and Vision, to voluntary Disability and Life insurances, FSA, Traditional and Roth 401k with company match, PTO plan, and paid holidays.

The Nitty Gritty Requirements

  • Integrity, energy, and a positive attitude
  • 2 years of paint and bodywork, including OEM equipment and repair work, strongly preferred
  • Ability to complete and pass the OSHA-required respiratory medical exam and fit test
  • Strong organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions

  • An understanding of how to estimate paint and bodywork is a plus
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Embraces change and can easily move forward as priorities shift
  • Embraces safety and puts your own safety and the safety of others as the highest priority
  • Willingness to work cleanly and participate in shop housekeeping and paint booth maintenance

Physical & Mental Requirements

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations.  Required to frequently lift and move 10-75 pounds.  Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, controls, and computers.
