Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations and drive the success of our retail location. Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training of new hires.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure stock levels are maintained and organized.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and provide ongoing training & development opportunities.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
- Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions regarding pricing and promotions.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.
- Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the recruiting process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of store presentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and merchandising.
- Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
- Strong leadership qualities with the capability to inspire and develop team members.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
