With over 17 years of experience and seven clinic locations, Spero Rehab specializes in neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic care, sports injury rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy, and aquatic therapy. You will be an employee of Intune PT which is doing business as Spero Rehab in this market.

Role Summary

- We are open to part-time, full-time, and PRN shift preferences.
- Greet and check in patients, verifying insurance and collecting required documentation
- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the therapists' calendars effectively
- Answer phones professionally and direct calls appropriately
- Process patient payments and manage daily financial transactions
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations
- Manage electronic medical records and ensure patient information is accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinate with clinical staff regarding patient flow and scheduling
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
- Handle general office duties including patient documents and supply management
- Assist with insurance claims processing as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of medical office or customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and practice management software
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive, friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures preferred
