Job Purpose: Provide clinical oversight and guidance to the Residential Treatment programs and provide direct supervision to staff as assigned. Coordinate the delivery of treatment by Residential team to clients. Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, contract requirements and Medicaid standards for program(s) as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Direction: Provide leadership of therapeutic treatment to clients in program(s) as assigned. Oversee the assessment and treatment planning stages for program(s) as assigned. Duties may include designing treatment model and delivery of clinical services, evaluating referrals, maintaining current information regarding therapeutic interventions relevant to the populations served, ensuring model implementation, and arranging internal staffings to provide direct consultations on individual client cases as needed.
- Clinical Training: Provide education and training to entire Residential team, including milieu staff, case managers, etc. in order to enhance skills related to therapeutic work.
- Clinical Team: Direct supervision of Residential Therapists/Counselors. Ensure high quality treatment delivery and achievement of Medicaid billing targets and client outcomes. Duties may include overseeing the recruitment and retention of clinical staff, interviewing and hiring, providing oversight and support, and providing appropriate corrective action plans for staff when necessary.
- Therapeutic Activities Team: Direct supervision of the Therapeutic Activities Coordinator and guidance to the team. The team will coordinate, execute and support the therapeutic activities of the Residential clients. Ensure high quality delivery and achievement of Medicaid billing, output targets and client outcomes. Duties may include overseeing the recruitment and retention of clinical staff, interviewing and hiring, providing oversight and support, and providing appropriate corrective action plans for staff when necessary.
- Personnel Management: Provide direct supervision of staff as assigned. Duties may include recruiting, hiring, training, performance reviews, and providing corrective action plans when necessary.
- Other: Participate in on-call rotation as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a Human Services field, LCSW or LCPC, 2 years previous experience in clinical treatment of children and adolescents, sound knowledge of trauma informed practices, and previous supervisory experience. Previous experience in 24/7 care preferred.
Skills: Must be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and detail oriented. Must be able to interact with, and relate to, diverse groups of people. Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and have the ability to recognize and report issues or concerns pertaining to program operations. Must be able to work collaboratively with program managers/clinicians to ensure clinical treatment is consistent in day-to-day programming and activities as well as therapy setting.
Miscellaneous: Must pass all pre-employment drug screens and background clearances. Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours to meet the needs of the program.
