Project Engineer II/III – Configuration Management (Nuclear)
Location: On-Site | U.S. Citizenship Required
Fluor is hiring a Project Engineer with strong Configuration Management (CM) experience to support key DOE/NNSA/DOD programs. This role ensures technical integration, configuration control, and compliance with nuclear industry standards across engineering and construction activities.
What You’ll Do
- Support multi-discipline engineering teams and 3rd-party design firms.
- Drive Configuration Management processes across the project lifecycle.
- Track project progress, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate design documents, bid packages, and technical procedures.
- Apply NQA-1 and nuclear standards; support quality audits.
- Identify issues early and help resolve cross-functional challenges.
What You Need
- Engineering degree 7 years experience.
- 4–6 years nuclear experience (DOE/DOD/NNSA or commercial).
- Strong CM background (PCN/ECN/DCN/FDN experience preferred).
- EPC/engineering/construction project engineering experience.
- U.S. citizenship (required).
- Proactive, detail-driven, strong communicator.
Nice to Have
- Experience presenting/training on CM.
- PMP certification.
- Document Management or Quality/Audit support experience.
