The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Accounting Manager who’s ready to grow with us and who can thrive in ambiguity, take ownership, and help shape how we serve our private wealth clients.
This isn’t a typical back-office role. You’ll be directly involved in building processes, improving operations, designing our product, and influencing the future of our services.
Key Performance Objectives (First 12 Months)
Success in this role means you will:
- Independently manage financial reporting for 10 private wealth clients, owning financial reporting deliverables and client communications.
- Improve existing processes by identifying bottlenecks and devising solutions that enhance quality and efficiency.
- Leverage technology and AI tools to automate manual tasks and deliver greater value to clients.
- Coach and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to building our culture as one of the early members shaping Spero’s private wealth accounting department.

- 2-5 years of experience in corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, or a similar field.
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, changing environments.
