The Tree Crew Leader leads tree care crews in daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in pruning, removals, and specialty tree work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of climbers and ground workers.
- Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform complex aerial tree work, rigging, and removals.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with ANSI standards.
- Conduct job site inspections and communicate with managers and clients as needed.
- Train and mentor associate climbers and ground crew.
- Track daily production and equipment use.
- 5 years of tree care experience, including climbing and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of arboricultural techniques and safety protocols.
- Proven ability to lead and train crews.
- ISA Certified Tree Worker or Arborist certification preferred.
- CDL license a plus.
