Key Responsibilities:
Assumes full responsibility for multiple landscape crews and assigned maintenance accounts
Manages labor, materials, time, and customer expectations efficiently
Proposes estimates and sells account enhancements as assigned
Utilizes company software correctly to schedule and manage accounts
Completes paperwork and reports (e.g. job ticket completion, time entry, safety documents) accurately and on time
Attends client board meetings and conducts landscape walks with clients as assigned
Creates punch lists and ensures they are completed
Ensures irrigation is programmed and working correctly to ensure client satisfaction and job quality
Makes responsible recommendations to clients
Reads understand and follows contracts
Keeps assigned equipment properly maintained
Attends and leads safety meetings
Trains, coaches, disciplines and follows through on staff direction as required
Completes business processes in a timely and accurate fashion
Complies with and acts as a role model for all organizational policies and procedures
Is available for "on-call" emergencies
Provides excellent service (e.g. accurate, complete, timely) to clients, team members
Key Performance Indicators:
Manages all accounts to achieve overall profitability to company standard
Manages enhancement and irrigation work profitability to company standard
Maintains all accounts to company quality standard
Retains client accounts through client relationships and quality performance
Follows and directs staff in all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Produces high-quality work that is on time
Communicates effectively: follows up and doesn't need to be asked twice, keeps others posted on progress
Primary Skills and Education Required:
Positive attitude; ability to follow rules and instructions, work safely, and work well with others
Communicate effectively in written and spoken English, Spanish a
Possess a valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
5 years of professional landscape management experience is preferred
A 2 or 4-year degree in Horticulture, Plant Science or other related field is beneficial
A combination of experience and education as outlined above is ideal
Working knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods associated with landscape management (e.g.,
horticulture, plant identification, insect and disease identification, irrigation, equipment operation, etc.)
