The 3D Designer will lead the design, development, and technical execution of proprietary hardline merchandise and accessories.
- Create compelling 3D digital designs and concepts for presentation to buyers, collaborating closely with the merchandise and product development teams
- Address queries from factories and implement effective problem-solving strategies throughout the production process
- Communicate technical details and construction methods to manufacturing partners
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Toy design, Digital design, Industrial design, or a related field with a focus on digital sculpture and/or 5 - 7 years of demonstrated experience
- Strong Knowledge of human anatomy, ecorche', form and function, including stylized forms (e.g., zombies, monsters) using both traditional and digital techniques
- Expertise in 3D sculpting and modeling utilizing both organic and hard-surface techniques
- Ability to interpret 2D designs and execute finished 3D models for print and manufacturing, including file preparation for 3D printing
- Proficiency in 3D software (e.g., ZBrush, Freeform, Maya, Lightwave 3D, Blender, Poser) is essential
- Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Experience in toy design & gaming a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
