Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Pharmacy Cashier to join our retail store. You will be responsible for greeting guests when they arrive, answering questions they may have, completing their transactions efficiently, and helping answer phones. When the pharmacy is not busy, you will assist with restocking shelves, creating merchandise displays, and taking inventory. Your primary goal is to provide excellent customer service to all of our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and and pharmacist to ensure seamless service.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely while adhering to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations within the the pharmacy environment.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cashier and customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and excellent customer service is essential.
