We're commissioning advanced gas units at a state-of-the-art test facility in Greenville, SC, and seeking a Quality Site Lead to oversee all QA/QC site operations for this innovative project.
🔧 About the Role:
As a Quality Site Lead, you’ll ensure full quality assurance and control during construction and commissioning. From process implementation to audits and inspections, you'll be the driving force behind delivering compliant, high-quality outcomes.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage quality processes on-site
- Conduct field inspections and spot checks
- Lead all quality activities and ensure regulatory compliance
- Represent the QA/QC function to customers and authorities
- Oversee quality documentation, inspection planning, and audits
- Establish and manage the site quality team
- Provide QA training to site personnel
- Coordinate welding inspections and documentation
- Ensure timely record keeping and documentation archiving
🎯 Required Experience:
- Hands-on QA/QC experience on construction sites
- Direct experience with LM6000 and LMXpress gas turbines
- Knowledge of welding and structural codes and norms
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working on full project lifecycle (start to finish)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and QA documentation tools
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred; HS diploma with extensive relevant experience considered
