Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale renewable energy projects from development through execution. This role is responsible for managing complex, multi-year projects valued at $100M while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead utility-scale renewable energy projects and other complex capital projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including Project Charters, Project Management Plans, Scoping Documents, Risk Registers, and related deliverables.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, ensuring accountability and alignment among stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and overall commercial performance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and collaborate with project schedulers as needed.
- Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and constraints to support successful execution.
- Coordinate activities across multiple functional teams and manage several projects concurrently.
- Serve as a liaison with third parties, governmental agencies, and landowners to support project development and execution.
- Develop execution strategies for various project delivery models, including EPC and Build-Own-Operate structures.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership.
- Validate project forecasts and monitor project expenditures and resource allocations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending new processes, standards, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrate ethical leadership and maintain a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
- 7 years of applied engineering and/or project management experience.
- Proven experience managing complex capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
