Planner

Seeking a Planner III to support transmission and substation construction and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop construction and maintenance work packages, including scope, labor estimates, materials, tools, equipment, and required resources.
• Prepare construction estimates for labor hours, project durations, and resource needs.
• Coordinate with construction crews, project managers, and schedulers to prioritize work and improve efficiency.
• Review equipment history and identify additional maintenance opportunities and potential project risks.
• Monitor work progress, document variances, and address work package issues.
• Coordinate transmission clearances, switching requirements, and safety documentation.
• Conduct job site visits, walkdowns, and pre-construction meetings to verify project requirements and material availability.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of substation construction experience.
• Knowledge of ITOA or experience qualified in switching and tagging.
• Strong planning, estimating, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating construction resources and maintenance activities.
