P6 Scheduler

📌 Hiring: Scheduler (Hybrid – Raleigh, NC)

Contract: 6 Months (Potential for direct hire or extension)

Start: ASAP

Schedule: 40–50 hrs/week periodic travel (2–4 days/month)

I’m supporting a major infrastructure/energy project and looking for an experienced Scheduler to join the team. This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week onsite in Raleigh, NC, and offers long-term growth potential.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule substation-related maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Manage manpower, tools, and materials to support project schedules.
• Track work progress and adjust schedules to meet evolving deadlines.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and project teams to ensure alignment.
• Ensure all scheduled work complies with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update scheduling tools and software.
• Reprioritize schedules for emergency work, outages, or critical tasks.
• Prepare schedule-related reports including delays and completions.
• Support budgeting activities by tracking resource utilization.
• Identify opportunities for improving scheduling processes.

⭐ Must-Have Qualifications

• 3 years of construction scheduling experience
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6; familiarity with Microsoft Project
• Understanding of U.S. construction practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel periodically to construction sites
• Interest in continuing a career path in scheduling

Preferred Experience:

• Electrical construction experience
• Substation or broader power industry exposure
• Experience with HVDC projects
• Protection & Controls (P&C) installation or oversight background
