Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Job Summary:
- The Resource Nurse assumes responsibility for providing appropriate staffing and patient assignments
- The Resource Nurse provides direction of hospital operation in the absence of the Department Managers and Administrators on scheduled shifts
Job Requirements:
- IA RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required
- Minimum of 3 years RN inpatient experience required
- Critical Care experience preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
Job Schedule:
- 72 hrs a pay period
- 12 hr day/night shifts
- Every other weekend or every third based on staffing
- Holiday rotation
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department
