Spencer House Bed & Breakfast is currently hiring for the position of parttime seasonal housekeeper.This position is part -time seasonal from May - October with varying days each week depending on scheduled guest checkouts. While this is initially a seasonal position the opportunity to return for following seasons may be provided for the right person. The main duties for this position will be to assist with the process of guest room turnover and cleaning of guest common areas to include the following responsibilies.
NOTE: This position is will require occasional bending, stooping and kneeling along with the ability to carry laundry baskets, climb stairs and remain active for the entire shift.

- **Schedule:**
- 2--4 days per week
- Approximately 2-3 hours per shift
- Daytime hours (late morning to early afternoon)
- **Sunday availability required**
- **Responsibilities:**
- Clean and refresh guest rooms to a high standard
- Prepare rooms for arriving guests
- Assist with Laundry (sheets and towels)
- Maintain cleanliness of guest areas
- **Qualifications:**
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently
- Takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming space
- Housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- **Compensation:**
- $13--$16 per hour, based on experience
- Opportunity for an increase based on performance and fit
- Paid time off available for seasonal employees (1.5 hrs for every 40 hrs worked)
