Position Highlights
Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500 employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Infusion department.
- Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.
- Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
- Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.
Requirements:
- Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
- IA RN license
- BLS and ACLS are required.
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience or equivalent required
- Experience with infusion-related treatments, therapies, and procedures preferred
Schedule:
- 60 hours per pay period
- Mon-Fri; 8a-4:30p
- On-call as needed
- Must be able to work into evening if needed
- Potential holidays and weekends as needed
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
