The Spencer-East Brookfield Regional School District is seeking School Nurse Substitutes to support student service delivery needs district-wide.
General Duties
The Substitute School Nurse is responsible for:
Health assessment, medical treatment, and health counseling of students
Medication administration and oversight
Development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of Individualized Health Care Plans (IHCPs) and medication administration plans
Collaboration with healthcare providers, families, and school staff regarding student health
Providing emergency care for injury or sudden illness
Performing or supervising Massachusetts Department of Public Health mandated health screenings or activities
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive health records, including electronic documentation
Prevention and control of communicable diseases within the schools
Staffing immunization clinics and other public health-related duties
Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee
Salary : $125 - $200
