FFE PRODUCT SPECIFIER

Responsibilities:
- Work with project managers and team members utilizing creativity, foresight, organization, and judgment to meet expectations, schedule, and budget.
- Provide practical, safe, and innovative solutions while adhering to all applicable building codes, life safety, and ADA guidelines to ensure project completion.
- Maintain detailed product knowledge.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss product issues, technical issues, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure the incorporation of all information into project requirements.
- Develop and review detailed FF&E budgets and location plans.
- Select and specify furniture, softgoods, and signage throughout all phases of the planning and design process based on the client’s functional needs.
- Meet with design team members to review FFE selections approved by clients. Create specifications and coordinate with vendors to gather pricing and finalize proposals for client review and approval.
- Prepare client-approved proposals for order placement.
- Collaborate with the purchasing coordinator to review product acknowledgments and track product ship dates to align with target installation dates.
- Produce installation drawings and coordinate with the Installation Manager.
- Effectively listen and communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to establish a rapport that promotes long-term positive relationships with all SBC stakeholders.
- Resolve conflict effectively and encourage a healthy, positive team environment.
- Apply knowledge of SBC’s core values, goals, and objectives to provide exemplary customer service to external and internal stakeholders.
- Appropriately make suggestions, express ideas and methods that could improve current standards and processes.
- Adhere to SBC policies and procedures.

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in CAP and CET is a requirement
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines and provide high-quality customer service
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in interior design industry
- Dealership experience is required
- NCIDQ or EDAC Certifications is a plus
- Experience in Healthcare and Higher Education is a plus
