Hi, we’re Speks, a Brooklyn-based product design company creating premium sensory products for teens and adults. We sell globally across wholesale, retail, and DTC, and we’re growing fast.
We’re looking for an experienced Demand Planning Manager to own forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment across our business. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and leadership to ensure the right inventory is in the right place at the right time.
This is a full-time, in-office or hybrid role based in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
What You’ll Do
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning
• Build and maintain demand forecasts across DTC and B2B wholesale channels
• Monitor sales trends, inventory levels, and weeks of supply
• Identify stockout risks, excess inventory, and replenishment needs
• Coordinate inventory planning with sales, marketing, and operations teams
• Prepare purchasing recommendations based on forecast demand and lead times
• Analyze inventory performance, aging, and sell-through trends
• Partner with sales teams on inventory projections and replenishment forecasts for major retail accounts including Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble, international distributors, and other key partners
Reporting & KPIs
• Own forecasting and inventory reporting across the business
• Track key metrics including inventory health, forecast accuracy, fill rates, aging, and stockout risk
• Organize and present inventory data for leadership planning and decision-making
• Maintain clean, accurate data across systems
What We’re Looking For
• 5–7 years in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain, ideally in CPG, retail, or wholesale
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
• Proven experience building and managing demand forecasts across multiple channels
• Familiarity with major retail account planning processes (Walmart, Target, or similar)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• ERP, inventory planning, or forecasting software experience is a plus
