Responsibilities
- Operate concrete mixers and other heavy equipment to prepare concrete for various applications.
- Ensure proper mixing of materials according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and forming as needed on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain efficient workflow.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site to minimize risks and hazards.
- Participate in rebar installation, loader operation, and excavator tasks as required by the project.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with concrete mixers and dump trucks.
- Familiarity with paving techniques and concrete pumping processes is highly desirable.
- Previous construction site experience is essential, along with knowledge of concrete forming practices.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in commercial driving is a plus, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
