What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Striping Truck Driver position at Speedy Striping Inc?
We are seeking an experienced Road Striping Truck Driver. If you have experience with Paint or Thermoplastic Longline Road Striping we want you to join our team!
Experience with Water-blasting Trucks would also be desired!
We require a current Class B or Class A commercial driver license.
These are straight trucks no trailers.
This is not a driving only position, it consists of basic field work to produce road markings.
Some of the work tasks included:
- Operate Longline Road StripingTrucks with Paint or Thermoplastic Materials
- Operate Shortline Road Striping Machines with Paint or Thermoplastic Materials
- Load materials on the trucks with a forklift.
- Operate Water-blasting Trucks for Removal of Old Traffic Lines and Legends
- Layout Dimensions for New Roadway Striping and Traffic Legends
- Help Maintain Striping Trucks and Equipment

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must operate equipment in compliance with the safety guidelines.
- Must be able to work outside
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Primary schedule is weekdays; but occasional evening or weekend work may be needed as projects demand
Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations and use measuring tools to complete project layouts.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Current Class A or B Commercial Driver License is a required
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
We may consider training someone for this position if you have a current CDL and relevant experience! This position may be a fit if you have driven and operated a piece of equipment like; a Street Sweeper, Snow Plow, Concrete Truck, Vacuum Truck, or Crane Truck.
