Speedwell Construction is seeking an organized, dependable, and team-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Matthews, NC office.
The Project Coordinator plays an important role in supporting our construction project teams and helping keep projects organized and moving forward. This position works closely with Project Managers, field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage project documentation, coordinate information, and provide administrative and accounting support.
What You’ll Do
- Process and maintain project documents, including contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, meeting minutes, start-up documents, and close-out documentation
- Provide administrative and clerical support to project teams
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain required project documentation
- Track potential and approved change orders and distribute information to appropriate team members
- Assist with project accounting functions, including entering invoices into the accounting and job-cost system
- Sort, prioritize, and distribute incoming and outgoing materials
- Provide occasional front-desk support, including answering phones and greeting guests

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous administrative experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment
- Construction industry administrative experience preferred
- Basic understanding of information technology preferred
- Familiarity with Viewpoint and Bluebeam is a plus
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position based primarily in our Matthews office, with occasional travel to jobsites and training.
