Seasonal-Event Security
Overview:
Event Security Staff at EchoPark Speedway play an integral role in working with all departments to fulfill our mission of:
- Taking care of teammates
- Hosting remarkable events
- Positively impacting our community
- Profitably improving
Event Staff will work under the direction of the Events/Operations Managers
Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
- Respond to any security or safety issue that may arise during an event
- Monitor designated work area, and parked vehicles to ensure security and deter theft or vandalism
- Report suspicious activity
- Maintain a visible presence to provide event attendees with a sense of safety and security
- Ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed to be in certain locations, and monitor access points
- Have the ability to handle conflicts, defuse tensions, and prevent situations from escalating into violence
Event Staff Requirements
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Flexible schedule (mostly weekends/nights)
- Positive attitude with a willingness to work as a team
- Professional appearance
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outside for extended periods of time (extreme weather conditions included) Standing for long periods
- Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- September 12-13 NOPI
- October 2-11 Fall Fair
- November 6-7 Bennett/WAA Stars, Stripes, & White Lines
2026 Small to Medium Events:
- Daily Events
- Weekly - Weekend Events
