Speedwash Car Wash is looking for a dynamic Director of Operations to lead our multi site teams and keep our washes running at top speed. In this role, you’ll oversee day to day operations, drive membership growth, reduce downtime, and ensure every customer gets the fast, friendly, spotless wash we’re known for.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high standards
• Lead and mentor Site Managers and Area Managers to achieve operational, financial, and team goals
• Focused membership growth plan, sales initiatives, and workflow optimization
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and performance reviews
• Approve budgets, credit card transactions, PTO, bonuses, and damage claims
• Review monthly P&Ls and coach Area Managers on profitability improvements
• Ensure safety compliance with policies and regulations
• Handle escalated employee and customer issues with professionalism
• Partner with Area Managers to coach, train, and develop site level managers, building a strong workplace culture
• Implement process improvements to reduce downtime, maintain equipment, and optimize profitability
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee development in partnership with HR
• Travel regularly to provide hands-on support and maintain operational excellence
• Put the right people in the right seats to support organizational growth and success
  
  

What You’ll Need:

• 5 years of multi-site operations management experience (car wash, retail, service, or similar industry)
• Proven track record of leading teams, coaching managers, and building strong workplace culture
• Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L oversight, and driving profitability
• Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align diverse teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands on environment where no two days look the same
• Willingness to travel regularly between sites as needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (preferred but not required)
