Large Format Printing and Install

Overview This is a hybrid position for someone flexible who can perform most graphic and sign installation but also assist in production of large format graphic products when not installing. The primary role is to complete installation of signs and large format printed products, either at our studio or at a customer’s location. This includes but is not limited to; vinyl wall murals, wall decals, window graphics, frosted window film, floor decals, dimensional text on walls, acrylics mounted with stand-offs, rigid signs, spot RTA decals on vehicles, and more. As many installations will take place at a customer’s location, they must present a positive professional appearance and not create a negative image of the company. The Associate will also assist in production at the studio that includes setting up printers, running the printers, running the CNC Cutter and performing finishing operations, including but not limited to; laminating, weeding, masking and trimming. The position will take direction from the Production Manager and Owner. They will work to delight the customer and meet the expected delivery schedule.

Duties:

· Print and Sign Installation including but not limited to vinyl wall murals, wall decals, window graphics, frosted window film, floor decals, dimensional text on walls, acrylics mounted on stand-offs, spot decals on vehicles, and more by either dry or wet application.

· Assist with production including running printers, CNC Cutter and performing finishing operations.

· Use the production order system to determine production steps and update status to track the production flow.

· Drive to pick up materials, deliver product, or perform installation typically using the company van but occasionally may need to use their own vehicle at a reimbursed rate.

· Maintain printers through cleaning and preventative maintenance.

· Maintain good housekeeping in the production area. Follow all production Safety rules.

Qualifications

· At least 3 years’ experience at sign and vinyl installation

· Speaks and reads English with good communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to weed, trim and apply application tape to RTA vinyl graphics.

· Demonstrated ability to install vinyl graphics on windows, walls and other flat or slightly curved surfaces without defects.

· Mechanically sound in using tools such as drills, socket wrenches, knives, and other installation tools.

· Demonstrated ability to perform simple math functions calculate spacings and locations when installing rigid graphics.

· Valid Driver’s license and daily use of your own vehicle.

· Able to fulfill duties with minimal Supervision

· Able to lift and carry 50 lb. of materials without assistance.

· Must be able to work on their feet for extended periods of time.

· Mechanically inclined, interested and experienced in the use of small hand and power tools.

· Basic knowledge of computers

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Comfortable working on ladders at heights of up to 16 feet or higher with powered lifts.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
