Production Finisher - Sewing Technician (Full-Time)

Role Description

Seeking a Full-Time Production Finisher - Sewing Technician to be onsite. The person in this role will primarily be responsible for sewing large fabric or vinyl banners, fitting fabric onto hardware, and ensuring quality control standards are met to produce high-quality products. This role involves climbing ladders, using a lift, and building frames. They will also be responsible for clear communication with team members and occasionally going off-site to meet clients for fittings. Must be willing to work early mornings, evenings or weekends on an on-call/as-needed basis.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sewing

Experience operating industrial sewing machines

Must be comfortable with heights (work will involve climbing ladders or getting on a lift)

Convert measurements (ie. 3/8" = 0.375")

Read graphic blueprints/graphic design proofs

Build frames

Fit and Finish graphics

High attention to detail

Strong communication skills to work as a team

Willing to learn

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Experience in large format printing or other related industries is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent
