Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Overnight Cashier / Store Associate to join our team. This position plays a critical role in preparing the store for the next business day. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the store is fully cleaned, stocked, organized, and presentation-ready for the morning shift.

While customer traffic may be lighter overnight, the ideal candidate must also be fully capable of operating the register and delivering professional customer service when needed.

This role requires strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

ResponsibilitiesStore Cleaning & Maintenance (Primary Focus)

• Perform deep cleaning of the sales floor, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors to company cleanliness standards.
• Clean counters, coffee stations, beverage areas, and food prep surfaces.
• Take out trash and maintain sanitation standards throughout the shift.
• Ensure the store environment is organized and visually ready for morning customers.

Stocking & Merchandising

• Restock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Face products and organize shelves for a clean, full appearance.
• Refill beverage coolers and ensure high-demand items are fully stocked.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when applicable.

Cashiering & Customer Service

• Operate the POS system to process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments responsibly.
• Provide courteous and professional service to overnight customers.
• Monitor store activity and maintain a safe environment.
• Follow company policies for loss prevention and cash handling.

Requirements

• Ability to work overnight shifts reliably and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in convenience store operations is a plus.
• Ability to lift and stock products (including beverages and cooler items).
• Self-disciplined, dependable, and able to manage time effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
