Job Description: We are seeking to add a motivated and customer-focused Used Auto Parts Salesman to our team. In this role, you will work closely with customers, both over the phone and in person, to help them find the right auto parts for their needs. With our commission-based pay structure, you have the opportunity to earn a competitive income while making a meaningful impact on our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and returning customers.
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct auto parts for their vehicles.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on product quality and compatibility.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
- Stay current on inventory and product availability.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the inventory and parts team to ensure accuracy and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in auto parts or the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to close sales.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
- Basic understanding of automotive parts and systems is a plus.
- Experience working with commission-based pay plans is preferred.
