Amazon Package Delivery Driver $21.25 / Hr

We're hiring immediately for a Package Delivery Driver to join our team to deliver Amazon boxes in Broomfield. New employees can earn $21.25 - $22.75 / hour starting on your first day, with our top performing drivers earning up to $24.00/hour. This position is based at Amazon's newest delivery station in the Denver area, DDV3, located just a few minutes north of Thornton and Westminster near I-25 and Baseline Road (Highway 7).

Speedbox is a tight-nit, collaborative squad seeking to deliver smiles to our neighbors as well as to each other. We earn trust by insisting on high standards, such as being obsessed about safety while providing an awesome experience to team members. Package delivery jobs aren't for everyone, requiring lots of walking (5 miles per day) plus lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Founded in 2020, we're a team of 60 associates thar are heroes to our neighbors in Broomfield. Our entire team starts our day at 11 AM each day and we keep working until our entire team succeeds by delivering all packages for the day, typically finishing in 8 - 10 hours and generally no later than 9 PM. We seek to offer consistent schedules to all employees, which typically involves working 4 days a week including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).

Work Location This role is based at Amazon's DDV3 delivery station located at 400 W 160th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80023. We are just a few minutes east of Lafayette, north of Denver, south of Longmont, and west of Brighton.Work Schedule

This position starts every day at 11 AM. Deliveries typically take 8 - 10 hours to complete, with our team generally finishing work before 9 PM. All team members typically work 4 days a week. We currently have immediate openings on our Wed-Sat, Thu-Sun, and Fri-Mon shifts.

Job Responsibilities
A typical shift for a Package Delivery Driver entails:

• Handling 300 to 350 packages per day, which requires lifting, pushing, and pulling boxes weighing up to 50 lbs each.
• Kneeling, crouching, stretching, and reaching above head while retrieving packages or placing them at doorways.
• Staying physically active during shifts up to 10 hours long, which includes walking 5 - 10 miles per day while climbing up to 40 flights of stairs when delivering packages to apartments, offices, and homes.
• Working outdoors and driving in all types of weather conditions, including hot & cold temperature extremes, along with wind, rain, and snow.
• Safely driving a cargo delivery van 75 - 125 miles per day. All delivery vehicles are equipped with dash cameras and telematic systems that monitor safe driving behaviors both inside and outside the vehicle. Drivers must have no speeding instances, stop sign or traffic light violations, tailgating events, or distracted driving occurrences.
• Utilizing smartphone technology to read customer delivery information, navigate delivery routes using GPS, to communicate with dispatchers verbally and in writing, and to speak with customers to troubleshoot issues with the delivery process.

• Delivery drivers must be 21 years of age or older.
• Delivery drivers must possess a valid driver's license.
