Go Kart Track Attendant

Speed Factory is Greenville’s only indoor go-kart track, and we’re looking for energetic, friendly individuals to join our Track Crew! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love helping customers, we want to hear from you. This is the perfect job for high school or college students looking for a flexible part-time schedule, a fun team, and an active environment. No experience needed — we’ll train you! Loving motorsports & racing is definitely a plus too!

Location:

• 1524 Roper Mountain Rd. Greenville, SC 29615

Schedule:

• Typical work week is 15-25 hours
• Must be available on weekends
• Must be available for shift start time of 2:45pm

Operating Hours:

• Tuesday: 3-9pm
• Wednesday: 3-10pm
• Thursday: 3-10pm
• Friday: 2-10pm
• Saturday: 12-12am
• Sunday: 12-9pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet racers and go over safety rules
• Keep races running on time by staging drivers quickly and efficiently
• Help customers into their karts and get them race-ready
• Check all customers have met all safety requirements before racing
• Closely monitor races, strictly enforcing all rules are followed
• Use flags or hand signals to communicate with drivers on track
• Remove or warn drivers who don’t follow Speed Factory policies
• Inspect and clean karts, track, pit, and viewing areas daily
• Help with basic kart troubleshooting and minor maintenance tasks
• Assist with general facility upkeep and guest needs as assigned
• Move quickly and safely on foot around the pit and track area — this is an active role that requires running, pushing, pulling, and constant awareness

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 14 years of age
• Reliable transportation is required
• Driver’s license preferred
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time
• Okay working in hot/cold weather
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs (for kart pushing or moving barriers)
• Good with kids and families
• Can stay calm with upset guests
• Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States

Compensation:

• Starting at $11.00/hour – with regular raises and promotions based on performance (up to $18.50/hour)
