This is an exciting opportunity to join an emerging commercial real estate operating platform focused on acquiring and managing multi-tenant light industrial shallow bay properties in key metropolitan areas across the US.

About the Role

The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for managing the vendor relationships, ensuring vendors are in compliance, and invoices are paid timely. This role requires advanced proficiency in Yardi and Excel, with a strong ability to work across teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new vendor set up and maintain vendor records.
• Ensure vendors are in compliance with insurance requirements.
• Manage invoice imaging/scanning process and resolve workflow issues.
• Preparing and organizing high volume weekly check runs.
• Collaborate with operations teams to resolve vendor issues.
• Use Yardi to process and file annual 1099 forms in accordance with IRS regulations.
• Reconcile vendor statements with the accounting system records as requested.
• Produce accurate reports and present results as requested.
• Drive effective accounts payable policies and procedures.
• Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounts payable accounting experience, ideally within the real estate industry.
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Payscan is required.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coordinate workflow and task tracking through Asana to maintain project timelines.

The annual full-time base salary range for this role is:

$85,000-105,000

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and Speed Bay Senior Management approval.  Speed Bay offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full-time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K, in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
