What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment to pediatric patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Provide evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions
• Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills
• Provide caregiver education and home programming
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge information
• Collaborate with SLPs and other professionals when appropriate
• Communicate effectively with families and caregivers
• Help contribute to the development and growth of our OT program

Our Pediatric Population

You'll work with children from infancy through adolescence, including children with:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Developmental delays
• Sensory processing differences
• Fine motor delays
• ADHD
• Down syndrome
• Feeding concerns
• Developmental and functional challenges
• Other pediatric diagnoses

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for Virginia licensure
• NBCOT certification
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable transportation

Preferred:

• Pediatric occupational therapy experience
• Outpatient pediatric experience
• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
• Experience with autism, sensory processing, fine motor, or feeding needs

New graduates with strong pediatric fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply.
