Speech Inspirations is a group of traveling therapists providing speech and occupational therapy services throughout Raleigh and Charlotte. We are looking for a highly organized Billing Coordinator to assist the finance department with billing tasks. The Billing Coordinator should possess solid knowledge of basic Billing practices, but also be willing to learn. This position requires someone willing to be proactive and work on their own. This will be a hybrid position in Charlotte, NC for part-time employment, potentially building to full-time. Responsibilities
- Generate and process accurate and timely invoices for customers
- Review billing data for completeness and accuracy
- Submit Prior Authorizations to insurance companies
- Check patient insurance benefits and confirm costs with the families
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain customer records and update billing information as needed
- Assist with data entry
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to phone calls and emails in a professional manner
Experience
- Previous experience as a Billing Coordinator or similar role in a therapy practice required, with a preference for Fusion
- Proficient in data entry and attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze credit information and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with billing software or systems is a plus
This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
