What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Interventionist - In-Home position at Speech Improvement Center?
$20–$30 per session | Part-Time
Speech Improvement Center is expanding its early intervention program through Regional Center partnerships and is hiring qualified Early Interventionists to provide in-home services to children ages 0–3 and their families across the San Fernando Valley, Palmdale, and Los Angeles areas.
What you'll do:
- Provide early intervention services to children ages 0–3 in the home setting
- Support families with strategies to promote child development
- Collaborate with Regional Center service coordinators and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate documentation and session notes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Speech, or a related field
- Minimum 12 units of Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework required
- Experience working with children ages 0–3 strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license
- Comfortable working independently in a home setting
