Responsibilities:
- Assist speech therapists in the delivery of therapy sessions for clients of all ages.
- Prepare and organize materials and resources for therapy activities.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide support during assessments and evaluations.
- Engage clients in therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance communication skills.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Communication Sciences or related field.
- Experience working in a clinical or educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of speech and language development principles.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
