Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all driving and delivery tasks.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required, utilizing appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during the route.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is essential.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Customer service skills are crucial for effective communication with clients.
• Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics and product handling.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.47 - $27.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
