Job Summary
The Fulfillment Quality Assurance ensures order accuracy and product quality by conducting routine and random inspections of picked, packed, and shipped items within the warehouse or distribution center. This role is critical to maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Hours and Wage
- Monday - Friday 7:00AM- 3:30PM
- 5 hours of overtime may be expected each week
- Paid OT at time and half after 40 hours per week
- Starting wage: $20.00-22.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform spot checks on outbound customer orders to verify contents, quantities, labeling, packaging, quality and accuracy before shipment.
- Review all inbound materials to ensure proper receipt of materials, correct quantities, accurate storage placement, and acceptable product condition.
- Audit inventory by matching physical counts to system records, research any variances, identify contributing factors, and document all results for process improvement.
- Audit invoices, packing slips, and shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to billing or shipment.
- Communicate identified errors to fulfillment staff and provide guidance, corrective actions, and follow-up to prevent future issues.
- Maintain records of all inspections, audits, and discrepancies; report metrics (error rates, corrective actions) to fulfillment/warehouse management.
- Maintain compliance with safety guidelines while partnering with leadership to design and refine new safety procedures.
- Assist with full-cycle inventory counts, cycle counts, and pallet audits as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software or scanning devices

- Ability to adhere to safety practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management System
Education and Experience
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year warehouse, inventory control, or shipping/receiving experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk, lift and inspect pallets/orders
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry and slide freight in the warehouse
- Ability to spend a minimum of 8 hours on your feet
- Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to work with all types of freight which include but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
