Job Summary
The Custodial Maintenance individual will maintain a clean and safe environment for all staff and visitors.
Hours and Wages
- Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
- $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Gather and empty trash and recycling daily
- Service, sanitize and supply restrooms
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Refill supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance
- Clean common areas such as conference and lunch rooms, lobby and stairwells
- Dust or wipe down counters, tables and other surfaces in common areas
- Clean windows and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
- Water plants weekly
- Prepare for tours and special events
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimal electrical and plumbing knowledge is useful
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning, custodial, or maintenance positions preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Some overhead lifting involved
- Full range of motion with no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc.
- Work environment requires time spent outdoors in changing weather elements as well as in a vehicle
- Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
