Building Security Part-Time

The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest.

Job Summary

The Building Security individual will maintain the security of company property, facilities, and equipment.

Hours and Wages

• This is a part-time, weekends only positions
• Saturday and Sunday: 7:30PM-7:30AM
• Starting wage $18.00-20.00 per hour, based on experience
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect and patrol the premises regularly during the shift
• Monitor properties entrances and log activities
• Authorize entrance of people and vehicles
• Secure all exits and doors
• Report any suspicious activities
• Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance
• Perform any minor building maintenance that is required
• Perform warehouse and other duties as assigned
  
  

Skills And Abilities

• Knowledge of security operations
• Ability to operate computer systems
• Ability to work independently
  
  

Education And Experience

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of security or relevant experience preferred
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Some overhead lifting involved
• Full range of motion with no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc.
• Work environment could require time spent outdoors in changing weather elements
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
