Professional Responsibilities

IEP Case Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and legal compliance of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for an assigned caseload.

Instructional Modification: Adapt and differentiate general education curriculum to meet student needs.

Data-Driven Progress: Maintain meticulous records of student performance toward goals; utilize objective data to adjust instructional strategies.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all state and federal timelines (IDEA) are met using EdPlan for IEPs, progress reports, and re-evaluations.

Collaboration: Coordinate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers (SLP, OT, etc.) to ensure accommodation fidelity.

Behavioral Support: Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and utilize evidence-based classroom management to support social-emotional growth.
Requirements & Qualifications

Certification: Valid Oklahoma State Teaching Certificate in Special Education – Mild/Moderate (PK-12).

Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate digital IEP management systems and classroom instructional technology.

Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for facilitating IEP meetings and maintaining regular contact with parents/guardians.
