Academy360 Physical Education and Health Teachers:
- Continuously review and revise the curriculum to ensure alignment with the NJ Student Learning Standards, and addresses grade-level standards in physical fitness
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that provide individualized and group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
- Instruct students on the basic techniques needed to play team sports and other recreational activities
- Discuss the importance of living a healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical activity
- Monitor and document student participation and progress
Qualifications:
New Jersey Certified Teacher of Health and Physical Education required.
Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods in sports skills and appropriate developmental instructional and group management procedures.
Strong team-building skills, and interpersonal and communication skills.
